It's Kind of a Funny Story

I love Keir Gilchrist. He is on United States of Tara and to me, is a great actor. Keir plays an apathetic teenager named Craig who just can't seem to get happy. He is obsessed with suicide and before he takes the plunge, he checks himself into a hospital psychiatric ward where he learns a lot more about himself and the acceptance of others, than he bargained for. I liked this film. While it wasn't riveting, it was rife with human interaction and internal dialogue which allowed me to get the gist of the characters.
Ultimately, Craig gets released from the ward and realizes that much of what he believed prior to entering has been dispelled, in a great way!
