This film was SO ANNOYING! I honestly am embarrassed that I watched this, but my saving grace is that Liam Neeson and Julianne Moore are in it! Why they would do a film such as this is beyond me. I think this was a case of, "much better on paper." The director failed to create the Noir film that he should have. It was way too contrived and was just abysmal on so many levels. Amanda Seyfried as Chloe was annoying as well. At times, she looked like a 15 year old kid- disturbing for a temptress, if you ask me! I just don't get the appeal there--- to have a kid-like girl as a sexual object or creature. Julianne Moore plays a physician married to a college professor played by Liam Neeson. Julianne's character is, of course, predictably, insecure and thinks her husband is cheating on her and employs a sneaky tactic with which to snag him in the act. She picks a twisted young, and lonely girl who winds up intertwining herself into Julianne's life- as she has a crush on HER! Whatever.. so NOT BELIEVABLE and ANNOYING. Don't bother.. I can't even continue to write about this joke of a film.
